The short version
You don't need an account to use FMC. We only collect what helps us improve the site, we never sell your data, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Anonymous visit statistics (optional)
If you say yes, we count which pages and videos are viewed using a random ID that only lasts while your browser tab is open. It's not linked to your name or email. If you say no, nothing is recorded.
Questionnaire answers
Your answers to “Could you see yourself in this career?” are stored anonymously against the career, to help us decide what information to add.
Email list (optional)
If you choose to join, we store your email, when you agreed and which version of this wording you agreed to. We only use it to send FMC career content. Every email has an unsubscribe option, or contact us to be removed and deleted.
Videos
Interview videos are hosted on services such as YouTube or TikTok. They only load once you press play, at which point that service's own privacy policy applies.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or delete any personal information we hold about you. Statistics are automatically removable after a set period.
